This is a page for me to occasionally place photos that I have taken. These will tend to have a story to them. For most of my photos that I think are ‘ok’ to ‘good’ see My Flickr.
We have recently moved back to the bayside suburb of Birkdale (August 2015). Nearby Wellington Point is a good place for photographs. I visited for a sunrise shoot and after getting over the shock of a cool start, I got a few good shots.
We got to see the last matinee performance for the 2015 season of Mother and Son. The performance was excellent and a nice afternoon out. This is not the best photo in the world but looks reasonable as a black and white image.
This is the view from Edenvale which is a park next to the Gold Coast Arts Centre and Council offices. Looking across the Nerang river around sunset the Gold Coast Photographic Society outing attempted to capture the grandeur of the Surfers Paradise skyline across the water of the Nerang river. After this we moved to Broadbeach to practice night shots of the ‘G’ which is the Gold Coast light rail or tram.
